Well I’m surprised at the performance of this card is the first thing I want to say. I got it for a Raspberry Pi image so I want it to be faster than Class 10, but don’t want to pay stupid money for something that isn’t really as fast as they claim. As a comparison, I normally purchase ‘SanDisk Extreme Pro V30’. My test setup is an ‘Aorus 17 YE5’, a pretty powerful gaming laptop. I’m using the USB C port and a basic adapter (keep this in mind since I’m not using a high end card reader to max out speeds). So, removing my hardware limitations…I’m comparing my performance to the SanDisk Extreme Pro V30 card.

Pros: My first test was a full write and read to the entire disk. You can see the results in my second pic. Passed without any problems showing it is a legit 64GB card. The write and read speeds you see where during a Raspberry Pi image write and verification. The results are nearly identical (if not just a tad faster) than the SanDisk Extreme Pro V30 on my hardware (again, keep in mind I’m using a basic adapter – if you use a high end card reader your read/write speeds I’m sure would be even faster). Performance on the Raspberry Pi appear identical as well. If there is a RPi SD Card speed test program, I’m not aware of it so I couldn’t test the actual speed on the RPi directly.

Cons: Honestly I can’t think of any. When this card performs as well as the SanDisk card that I paid $13 for (on sale), I can’t say anything negative about it.

I would recommend this…at least for common use in the vast majority of electronic products. Without the right (ultra fast card reader) equipment, I can’t tell you how this would perform with say 4K video recording. But my guess is it would do just fine.

Edit: Got a faster SD Card reader and re-did speed test. Significant difference (see CrystalDiskMark results). Read speeds are nearly 5x faster and write speeds are nearly 2.5x faster. Had to post this so you can see max speeds if you are using a really high-speed sd card reader.

They are well-known. Many people use them daily. We entrust them with our precious data. We want a lot of space so we can put stuff on and take stuff off. Because they’re portable and small, we can take them with us to share the content with others. Its compatibility with a range of devices makes it a versatile companion. The storage capacity to price ratio is pretty good right now, and a 64 GB card might suffice for most users and their needs. Not only for movies, music, photos, and videos, you can also store other files like apps and their data, backups, books (kindle/.pdf), documents, downloads, drawings, games, ringtones, etc.

I could think of a few more use cases for getting more of these micro-SD cards for expanded storage, so I recommend this 64GB MicroSDXC Flash Memory Card for you.

I ordered this 64GB MicroSD card to use with a dash cam. It came packed in its own little plastic storage box that looks like it’ll hold up to nine in there, so that’ll be convenient to keep others safely stored if needed.

It was immediately recognized by my card reader when I inserted it, and although it was pre-formatted, I ran a low level format, followed by a quick format, both of which completed without issue. Upon inserting it into the dash cam, it was immediately recognized, and to ensure compatibility, I ran an additional format through the camera settings which was successful as well.

At this point, I don’t foresee any issues with it, and it appears to be a great deal for a 64GB MicroSD. Recommended with five stars!
