This hoya should get at least three to four hours of bright light near a window. Near a bright east or south facing window. This plant needs a fast-draining potting mix that is light and airy.

Hindu rope plants appreciate consistent and warm temperatures. Anything below 50 degrees Fahrenheit will be a problem.
They can tolerate early morning direct sunlight for a few hours, but intense afternoon sun is a no-no.
